Manual turntable with electronic speed selection between 33 and 45U / min. Mounted MC Pickup Ortofon MC Quintet Red
The model Pro-Ject "The Classic Evo" is a reminiscence of eternal role models. Classic forms - reinterpreted.
Modern material selection makes improvements possible where it seems sensible from today's perspective.
Pro-Ject The Classic Evo. The conical Tonarmrohr is made of a carbon fiber / aluminum composite, thereby has a high rigidity and low resonance. The tonearm bearings made of three zircons and a ball bearing allow moving the arm tube almost without mechanical inhibition. The stylus can thus follow the disc groove unhindered. The factory-installed low-output MC pickup Ortofon MC Quintet Red, which harmonizes perfectly with the effective mass of the mounted tonearm.
The medium-weight tonearm is ideal for MM, MC pickups and Ortofon SPU N MC pickups with 1/2-inch headshell mounting. Floating on TPE elements, the sub-chassis is laminated with a layer of brushed aluminum. The electronic speed dial spoils when switching between of LP and single speed.
The polished aluminum turntable and selected silk matt lacquered veneers in walnut and eucalyptus underline the classic look.
drive
Surface of the chassis veneered and painted satin in walnut and eucalyptus
Electronic speed selection between 33 and 45 rpm, manual adjustment of 78 rpm
The chassis, which stands on three mechanically damped feet, consists of a Bode plate made of compacted wood fibers, a wooden frame and a floating subchassis mounted on TPE elements
The resonance-optimized turntable is a sandwich construction consisting of an aluminum subtable, a TPE-damped polished aluminum plate and a felt platter
The turntable bearing consists of a sintered bronze bushing in which a high-precision stainless steel shaft runs on a teflon bearing base
Integrated motor control (sine wave generator)
Outsourced power supply to protect against mechanical and electromagnetic interference
A transparent, hinged dust cover made of Plexiglas is enclosed
Tonearm Pro-Ject 9cc
Straight 9-inch tonearm
Supplied with assembled and adjusted low-output MC pickup Ortofon MC Quintet Red
Counterweight for pickups from 7 to 14g weight included
The headshell and the tonearm tube are made of one piece of carbon fiber / aluminum composite
The Tonearrohr can be twisted after loosening a screw. This allows despite the fixed headshell a horizontal (azimuth) adjustment of the pickup
The tonearm base offers an adjustment of the vertical scanning angle (VTA)
Inverted tonearm bearing with ball bearings in quality ABEC 7
An RCA / RCA female terminal makes it possible to connect individual phono cables
Tonearm cable Pro-Ject Connect it phono RCA-E (length approx. 123cm) enclosed
connection
MC phono input on the amplifier or on the external phono preamplifier. Alternatively at the MM input together with an MC transformer
physis
Dimensions W x H x D: 462 x 131 x 351mm, 462 x 423 x 390mm (hood open)
TPE: Thermoplastic elastomer with high vibration damping, similar to Sorbothane®
